Shara Smith serves as Executive Director of Business Development and Marketing for Prime Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest health systems with 45 hospitals and more than 100 outpatient locations in 14 states. In her leadership role, Shara provides strategic direction and oversight of the business development and marketing function in Prime’s 28 hospitals in 12 states that comprise Division II. Shara has held this role since 2015, when she was promoted after serving for five years as the Marketing Director of Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, one of Prime’s acute care hospitals. Prior to joining Dallas Medical Center, Shara served in several sales and marketing roles in a variety of industries, including Healthcare. Shara is totally awesome and if you knew her, you would love her.
