Vicki Bencken is Director of Digital Communications for UC Davis Health in Sacramento, Calif., where she oversees digital strategy and operations. During her career at UC Davis, Vicki helped develop a novel health-care information portal for academic physicians and trainees in the mid-90s, co-led an effort to establish a Web presence for the hospital in the early days of the Web and worked on establishing the first medical informatics graduate program at UC Davis. She holds an MBA in International Business from Schiller International University, Madrid, and a bachelor’s degree from UC Davis.
