Chanin Wendling is a healthcare leader passionate about improving the consumer experience and is a certified patient experience professional (CPXP). She has grown Geisinger’s suite of consumer engagement tools beyond the patient portal to include patient reported data, mobile apps, text messages, eBooks, and iTunes University. Her work focuses on helping consumers get involved in, and better manage, their care, across health screenings, chronic conditions, and acute incidents.  Her latest efforts focus on how healthcare can be personalized, using individual motivations, behaviors, social determinants of health, and communication preferences to drive better outcomes.
