Crista is Vice President of Strategic Communications at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She leads a team of professionals responsible for internal communications, digital experience, community relations and creative services. She served as the Public Information Officer for MD Anderson during Hurricane Harvey.

Crista started her career in television news as an anchor and reporter where she developed a love for storytelling and strategic messaging. Over the past 15 years she has held numerous leadership roles in healthcare marketing and communication. Before joining MD Anderson in 2016, Crista worked at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.
