Emily Kagan Trenchard is the Vice President of Digital & Innovations Strategy for Northwell Health. For over a decade she has lead teams in designing and implementing the large-scale applications necessary to connect patients to care, and to keep businesses competitive in a time of radical change. Adept at serving as the point of translation between doctors, developers and designers, Emily leads key areas of the business including digital patient experience, web development, and UX. She holds a masters’ degree in science writing and communication from MIT and is a nationally recognized poet, essayist and speaker exploring the intersection of science, metaphor and everything.
