Gayle Sweitzer began her career as a physical therapist and has never lost her passion for helping patients find the very best care. She has worked with health systems and large multispecialty physician groups, service lines and acute and specialty hospitals. She has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Indiana University, and an MBA from Taylor University. She is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications at The University of Kansas Health System, where she has served since late 2015. She was named an Ingram’s Healthcare Hero in 2021, and the Distinguished Alumni from the Indiana University Physical Therapy Program in 2022. She serves as a board member for Friendship Inn and the Greater Kansas City YMCA.
