Katie Hunter is a creative based in Chicago. Her early work as a playwright focused on social media, and won International Thespian Society’s Playworks Prize and the Stephen Sondheim-founded Young Playwrights Inc competition. Katie’s work was performed internationally and published before she graduated high school. She studied instant communications technology at the University of Chicago, while working as a playwright at the American Theatre Company. Katie works at and launched the brand TikTok for the #1 hospital in Illinois, Northwestern Medicine.
