Sherrie Voss Matthews is Director of Internal Communications for University Health in San Antonio, Texas. She directs multiple channels to inform and engage more than 11,000 team members across the academic health system and its more than 30 clinics. Sherrie joined University Health in 2016 and built an internal communications program from scratch. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, publishing and nonprofits. She has a Master’s in Communication from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and a Bachelor’s of Journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
